  1. This is a high-end Industrial quality chain block designed for rugged and robust applications.
  2. The Elite Chain Block (Industrial) range are supplied with OVERLOAD PROTECTION as a standard feature.
  3. The Elite Chain Block (Industrial) range includes a standard gasket feature to safeguard and prevent dust ingress from forming a grinding paste to greased moving parts. This has been designed to combat dust issues endemic to harsh conditions such as mining environments. A worldwide first.

  6. The Elite series meets AS1418.2 and EN-13157.
  7. Each batch is cycle tested to 1500 cycles at 110% of Working Load Limit over at least 300mm load lift per cycle.
  8. Each and every LINQ Elite Chain Block (Industrial) is proof loaded at 150% of working load limit over at least 300mm load lift prior to dispatch to our distributors. (Except 250kg which is tested at 125%).
  9. Calibrated galvanised grade 80 20Mn2 load chain to ISO3077 is standard.
  10. Traceability markings on load chain – “Tri-marked with LINQ brand, G80 mark, batch reference number’’.
  11. Standard 3m lift height but can be supplied with any lift height.
  12. Load Chain Elongation is >17% for enhanced safety in the event of inadvertent shock overloading. LINQ Load Chain is designed to elongate in a shock load thereby halting any hoist use after an incident, as a safety precaution. Note that due to the inbuilt overload protection clutch, the Elite Chain Block (Industrial) range will not allow dangerous overloading, however the elongation feature doubles as a fail-safe in the event of shock loading (in such cases the entire unit will need to be replaced).
  13. The bottom hook is supplied with thrust bearing for AS/NZS compliance (the purpose being to better relieve twist stresses in the load chain).
  14. All hooks have cast safety latches with minimal side load movement.
  15. The Elite Chain Block is a 7-BEARING design, for even load spread, and efficiency of internal parts movement, ensuring a long service life, and resulting in a class leading lower effort rating per ton – less energy to lift a load.
  16. Sealed cage bearings; solid bush bearings and sealed roller bearings are utilised to ensure longevity and low service costs.
  17. The Elite Chain Block (Industrial) range includes a load chain stopper to prohibit load chain lift height over extension. Asbestos free brake and friction discs.
  18. 6 - 9 configuration double pawl for failsafe usage in any orientation.
  19. Double pawl and double guide rollers enhance safety, reliability and performance.
  20. Heat Treated, case hardened CNC cut gears and ratchet parts ensure high tolerance specs for better longevity.
  21. All forged parts are mag-flux tested and submitted to ultrasonic flaw detection after heat treatment.
  22. Embossed and branded hand chain cover with U and D arrow, for first time UP and DOWN direction engagement.
  23. All side covers are embossed with the LINQ brand logo.

  25. The AS1418.2 is embossed on the bottom hooks – a first in Australia and New Zealand.
  26. All hooks are embossed with tonnage and batch number.
  27. Hand chain 5mm x 25mm is in high gloss silver galvanised finish.
